Musings

Technically: rain

9:25am. The sky and waves resemble the last few days. A few minutes later, I watched the bald eagle fly west over the lake, very low, like he/she was exploiting ground effect (lake effect?). Efficiency.

3:50pm. We had actual rain…enough to get the flagstones wet. Then, it quit.

Residual roof-flow did drip into the rain barrel, but not enough to even raise the level a half-inch. An hour or so later, we got another brief sprinkle, that time not enough to get the stones completely wet.
