I went to church today.

Shocked?

Well, not quite. I did sit in a church, but I did not attend a service.

Actually, it generally bothers me that so much of a community’s resources go into building and maintaining a structure that’s used so infrequently, so I should applaud that Decatur’s First Baptist hosted presentations that were part of this year’s Decatur Book Festival.
