Yesterday, we did get the pansies in the ground. Today, I noticed the squirrels had removed all the blossoms. Oh, well, they did get enough water with the rain!

…which pretty much had stopped by about eleven, when we headed out to vote. Our trip turned into a group event, as our neighbors were headed out at the very same time! Yes, walking. Love that the polling place is walkable.

When we arrived, the line was short—not even out the door, but building by the time we left. I think the rain delayed some people. I also think many, many people early-voted.

And now we wait.
