Love the bumper

Heap de row

Photo name is John D. MacDonald reference; can’t remember title—it’s the one where they went to Mexico, I think Dress Her in Indigo.

First cutting of hay is dry enough that they’re baling it in far NE TN/far SW VA. Just so ya know.

Looks worthy of inspiring a Mexican-made wood toy truck replica. Quetzal Deux?

I want it. I need it bad. Where is it? What a perfect archeo field vehicle.
On second thought, please don’t tell me. You know my weakness for car/truck junk. This weekend there were three old cars on jack stands in my yard. Not counting those in the wayback yard or the WH warehouse. KGW is a very understanding wife and mother.
BTW, Welcome back to beautiful Georgia Spring weather. Enjoy it while you can.

It’s a Dodge M37. Began production in 1950 for the Korean War and continued until 1968. Nearly 111,000 were built and some are still running today. Top speed is 55 mph and they get about 9 mpg.

Dodge? wow. 9 mpg. I’ll take the Prius. But not to the places the Dodge will venture….
