Developers (usually not actual homeowners) keep building these inappropriate, poorly designed McMansions in our neighborhood, and I thought I’d just stop and remember the venerable originals. Yes, it was much larger and more imposing, architecturally and literally, than its neighbors, but, geeze louise, no way you could call it ugly! Even broken into apartments in its present life, this is a fine structure!
