I have heard many people argue that the USA is regional, yes, but also pretty much the same everywhere. Please note that I cannot image even one row of this canned good in a typical grocery in rural Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, or even New Mexico…yet a town of less than 3K in hinterland Michigan stocks TWO faces of 14 oz kraut juice. Yum.

Collected from the Krauts in Germfask? Sorry, not PC, but couldn’t resist. I like saurkraut, but have no idea what one would do with kraut juice. Maybe you could cross-pollinate your dual locations and serve grits boiled in kraut juice. Um, or maybe not.

mmm, kraut juice.
OK, actually never heard of it, although we like our sauerkraut in the Siewert household. Now I’m asking Dad if he’s ever had any. I like the grits boiled in the juice idea. Dare ya to try it.
Garden growing well–need that radish recipe, and need you hear to show me how to do it 🙂
