Flowing through leaves

Gutter river leaves

This isn’t exactly what I envisioned, but all day I kept coming back to the idea of the rain run-off migrating through the leaves that the wind blew into the gutter over the last few days for my image-of-the-day. This isn’t exactly it because I thought it would be…dynamic…interesting…arty. Sometimes, zero out of three is whatchu get.

I like the sun on the water on the right and the shocking green tuft of grass. What if you rotate it 90 degrees, so the sunlit waters are on the top?

Actually, I did take it with the right side at the top; the golden light is from a streetlight. Still exploring flash capabilities. (Usually don’t do the rotate thing….)

All I could think of was rain gutters on the roof of the house, and I could NOT fit your image to the one I had in my head! I was totally discombobulated looking at your picture until I read the comments, and that ‘grounded’ me!
