Been watching the BBC’s “Giri/Haji” and enjoying a different pacing. The name is transliterated Japanese, and means duty/shame. The reference, I assume, is to ethical decisions and family relationships. The show is mostly set in London, with a few bits in Tokyo. The series is a bit more violent than I’d like, yet well-plotted and well-acted.
