Color bits

In my (usually) daily walks, I’ve tried to look for color, a goal that has kept me searching for days. Today, however, I found this remnant fleur, perhaps some kind of aster (sorree!—no web search time to figure it out), a huge surprise, as the grey days have mounted up, with the colorless skies desaturating the already rather plain vegetation. Yesterday I did see the swish of a white-tail’s tail, but that hardly counts….

Wow! A great set of pictures – I especially liked the spider in tree sap. Live by the stickiness, die by the stickiness.

And don’t let the Michigan-style RSS (rain, sleet snow) getchya down! It’s beautiful in its own way. Glad you are getting outside. It helps, no matter what the weather.
