Night spider web

I think the spider noticed the infrared (or maybe just a misleading red dot), and went into hiding behind the…silk blob. Or maybe I’m just not the wildlife photographer…I hope I am.

Spider webs and spiders are hard to photograph. Usually the camera eye doesn’t “see” the spider web, so it focuses on what is behind it.

I regard any wildlife photos I take that happen to turn out well as complete accidents. I am not possessed with the proper equipment (including patience) for wildlife photography.
