Pie, Key Lime, by Deb

Deb says she got this recipe from someone else, but I had her delicious pie, so I think of it as her recipe….

Prepare or buy one graham cracker or chocolate cookie pie shell.

Filling:

  • 1 13-14 oz. can fat-free sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3 oz. key lime juice

Combine yokes and condensed milk. Can be whisked by hand. Add lime juice a little at a time, until smooth.

Pour into graham crust . Bake at 350° for 10–12 minutes.

Cool. You can top it with meringue (using the egg whites), or try it plain. That’s how Deb served it.
