Green weather

This morning’s weather excitement…less scary than it looks.

Yesterday’s weather fun. We got a lot of green rain. I was oh kay.

One year change

This ginger is meh this year; last year on this day I captured its showiness.

We’re fine

Just sayin’…some of today’s dental tools look like the one ones I’ve seen in multiple museum displays and dioramas…perhaps just shinier.

Lucky again

Unexpected…we had a windy phase without rain. Fortuately, no trees fell near us…and our power persisted.

Lucky today

After wind, lightning, and rain came through at evening rush hour, things became just humid, and I went to book club. We never lost power; plenty of households have around the area since this morning. ( Here’s my neighbors’ dining room light—call it architectural detail.)

(Mostly) Happy precip

MaNachur raised our lagging rainfall average today. I don’t know if we got the predicted almost-an-inch, but we had lots of rain minutes…for the most part without wind and storminess…yay.

Data of season-change

Here’s the evidence. Autumn is arriving. The day-length is decreasing (making it easier for me to “sleep in”). Redbud pods are drying out.

Fairy-fiction

Fairy land

Last night we finished binging on “The Night Agent” (got the Bad Guys), and tonight we watched the first episode of “The Green Glove Gang.” Very different. Both hugely fictional.

Phone-cam: “too honest”

I fought my phone-cam and the cam won. I mean that there was golden oblique light on this busy bulletin board and I thought I’d capture an indefinite yet moving mosaic of memories and souvenirs. Didn’t work. The phone-cam’s algorithms bumped up the light levels and perceptibility, and all the emotional undercurrents…poof, disappeared.

Delayed post

Hosta bloom

Sorry. Just not paying attention…or tired…somewhere in there. I picked a picture on time, then never found words to accompany it. [And forgot.] Here you are, from the next morning….
