Musings

Perspective

Spring twilight. Nothing more to be said. Apologies for the keystoning making the trees tippy.

Temp cycling

A pretty and lovely day that I enjoyed (weeding). A cold spell is behind us, and a hot spell is coming.

(S)pring progress

Phlox

The pollen is here with the phlox. They both start with Ps, but not the same sound.

Springing

I think this cold snap is over as far as overnights below freezing, so this pair should make it.

Chattin’ not day-drinkin’

The Book Club gals decided to shake things up a bit and meet at a neighborhood pub this afternoon. You can see the tavern manager prepared to be super-ready for us. [Sad fact: none of the BC buds had a beer. Or even a glass o’wine.]

New blooms

Despite that our weather was crappy today, the only white is flowers, and not cold winter-white, arriving by the foot in the northland.

Done

I got it! Not a golden man statue, but a viola/violet photo.

Tomorrow, she vows

Dark sky

I took this early and knew it was blurry/crappy, and intended several times to get a shot of the wee viola/whatever that’s in bloom in the grass, but I neglected to follow through.

Sky-light

I thought this shot would show more orange glow by the horizon. You can also see the tree-leaves are beginning to emerge.

This was the first morning that seemed close to normal after the time change.

Flocks of phlox

I swear that five days ago this plant didn’t even have buds…at least in a casual glance.
