This happens

Later in the evening than usual, I picked a picture, massaged it to the extent it could be improved, and “made” a blog version. Then I got sleepy and went to bed without generating words.

Blue boost

I got some patio time on a friends’ patio, and found this loverly bloom. Actually there was a pot of them, but I thought this was the most perfect-rime.

Too bleu?

There is something in this window-view that could work aesthetically. This version is closer than recent attempts, yet exceedingly meh.

Such fun

Drove over to Little A-Town and enjoyed a fine grilled burger-fest. And imposed upon our hosts with a tranche of South American photos. Although they wouldn’t say imposed.

Fly posing on basil.

Autumn in Aug?

It’s August…it’s even the first half of August. Yet, I see the early-leafing redbud is already dropping a yellowing leaf…an early harbinger of autumn. Or fall. [Get it? Fall? Falling leaf? Fallen leaf? haha]

Semi-smart

Oven time

Personal consumer wish list: sorta smart appliances that allow, I dunno, something like bluetooth syncing of clocks. That would include my oven, coffeemaker, microwave, that sorta device—with my phone sending them the time. No internet cloud connection and information sharing with distant strangers. Just two devices, one obtaining basic data from the other.

Let there be…

For several reasons, I don’t have significant (share-able) thoughts this evening.

I am fine.

Pink; sooo pink

Zinnia. Sunflower family. Native to the New World. If this is Zinnia elegans, it’s native to what we now call central Mexico.

Allée d’arbres

Watching “Emily in Paris” (saison deux) for the exteriors in Paris.

Title does not refer to photo; flowers are not trees.

WttW

Word to the wise: do not confuse “The Lincoln Lawyer” with “The Lincoln Highway.” The first is a TV series; the second is a book. Neither is about Abe; however, IMHO a case could be made that he should get royalties.
