Color patterns

Ribbon cable rainbow

This is a variegated ribbon cable that’s part of the Guru’s project to relight a switchboard. No, a video switcher. Ehem, a component analog video switcher. Assume quotes.

Plate colorsmear

I was reading a bunch of archaeo-articles today, you know, the remains of the past. Here’s a now-past repast’s remains.

Dated greenspace

Old technology

Today’s techno-rumblings were situated in the past. You can tell by how spaced out the solderings are on the mother-board. If in fact this is a mother-board.

Not pretty

Dead azalea blossoms

This resulted from the last cold spell…took a while. The present cold spell isn’t very cold, as cold goes, but I notice it….

Anyway, poor azalea. Bloomed before its time. I’m not saying climate warming. But [climate warming].

Update (unofficial pause)

Tomato purchase habitat

There were tomatoes. From the store. Rinsed in their clear plastic molded-packaging.

Fleurs white temporary

We also observed real flowers…outside. (Almost) Shivering in the cold. Which is cool, but not really cold; temperature is…sometimes relative.

Compensating

Mini raviolis

Today was cold and windy. The cold is relative…but the wind is unarguable.

Prescription: mmmmmm pasta mini-raviolis and tomato sauce. Topped with fresh basil (splurge) and fresh-grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (another splurge). Mmmmmm.

Tomorrow is to be more cold and windy. It’ll be short-lived; next week: in the 80s.

Home game

Buns n more

“I’ll take both.” [Maybe that’s not really a snappy come-back. I tried. Not my forte.]

Foot tile

I tried to be creative with foot-shots today, and this was the best of the lot, and it’s pathetic. In the other one, my foot had a blue-green cast. I know: white balance; but in practice that wasn’t enough.

Sandra went home tonight. And tonight was really last year sometime. And this makes no sense unless you watch “Survivor.”

Succulents

Succulent in planter

I’m guessing this may be a succulent, but I don’t know. It may be Old World….

Dogwood n four windows

Now this is just a succulent view. Kindof a stretch, I know, but my friend N’s kitchen scenery this time of the year. Beautiful dogwood.

How Nachur rolls

Leafing redbud

This is now, all leafy and headed for summer.

Redbud blooms perfect

This is four, yes four, days ago, that is four twenty-four hour days: all blossoms.

Same tree. Nothing alternative.

Can’t wait

Detritus from outside

Two days worth of tracked-in spring detritus…shows the entry mat-rug is doing its job. Storm coming through starting in the early morning hours, so some of the outdoor accumulation will be washed away.

Wild blue not-so-yonder

Droney not chased by geese

The Guru took Droney out for a sunset run, and we’ll have to start a bit earlier next time. The camera makes it darker that it seemed to me, but. This was the return leg. No, Droney was not chased home by a vee of geese….
