The sunset sky was a gorgeous orange trending to pink. I promise you that I have not adjusted the light-color at all on this painting—this is exactly the hue MaNachur (apologies for repetition from yesterday) delivered for about twenty stunning minutes.
LATER. Oops, silly me. It’s not a boat on the rocks, it’s a walrus hunt across the entire piece, and this is a close-up of the sled, and part of the team of harnessed dogs preparing to pull the sled over ice chunks. Sheesh and oh boy did I not look at what was right in front of me…. Long day. Different time zone.

Sometimes when Mother Nature’s light comes across the landscape—or the dinner table—flat, so horizontal it’s imitating the horizon, the mundane takes on a different dimension.
If that makes sense.

Wandered streets and alleys with The Nephew the Younger; found this yaller flour—neither of us knew its name….

I was all starry-eyed when I found these lovely droplets on this feathery vegetation. The experience lost some of its luster when I realized they weren’t dew, it was sprinkler-water.

Mostly, I quite appreciate my Fitbit One. Lately, it’s been quirky…actually, a little error-producer.
Here, I’ve caught it in the act. The pie chart is accurate in that the red section reflects 10 active minutes the Fitbit was registering minutes before. Honest minutes of activity. The legend has already deleted them. Sure enough, after a refresh of the browser, the pie chart reflected 0 active minutes.
I just want to say: arrrrgh.
A bit of googling indicates other people are having the same problem—a minority though, and some indication that Fitbit-corporate is aware of it. Seems like the code for this can’t be terribly complex. I see a company in amidst a downhill slide?

…Gentle Reader, for you, a flower.
I’m up too early; will nap—I very much hope—a bit later. Yawn.

Customarily, on Friday evenings we’re homebodies. Tonight we ventured out. We saw ART. SCAD art. Specifically, the SCADpads.
I’d hate to say this to Them, but the art I most enjoyed was Mother Nature’s sunset….
This architectural detail from one of the pads I found disturbing not for the windings, but for being upside down.

Not thinking of a thing that’s particularly entertaining to record in this space. Informative, yes—but…. Soooo, here’s a pretty….
