Musings

Stone-baked

We had fun, hippie pizza tonight, with fancy new box graphics. The thematically matching mushroom hat and orb are extra-special.

Western sky

Twilight and sunset glow…the wrong part of the sky for me to see stars and about forty-five minutes before last night’s star picture….

Stellar spindrift

When I stepped outside to take this photo, I thought the sky was a bit fuzzy…then, I looked at it on the laptop, and, wow—stars throughout the blue!

Onion rings

…but probably not the kind you were thinking of…and not O-rings, either.

Mixed ambience

Liriope

This was where my brain was late this afternoon…bright enough light to see, yet an unfocused fogginess prevailed.

With seasoning packet

And, in the adjacent aisle, eggplant kit and green bean kit. One pound for six people. Truth.

Techno-fun

I found an adjustment I didn’t know I had on my laptop photo-tweaking program.

Lookit that background go fuzzy.

CYDs arrive

We have new technology around here—a two-pack. The other side is a 2.8″ touch screen. They’re called cheap yellow devices. It’s a little less poetic than the name of the last new small techno-item, a raspberry pi.

Switchup

Shadows are a version of a visual echo.

Parens, plus

My latest food tweaks: adding walnuts (typically with yoghurt at lunch) and beets (here canned and added to salad). BTW, that dark yumminess is glaze made from balsamic must (vinegar is a good dietary component, also).
